Cameron Grady is a freshman in high school, has long hair and likes to run. He isn't a big guy, so when he and his mom are late to a sports meeting one evening the coach at the microphone mistakes him for a girl. The bullies of the football team pick up on it and a living hell ensues for Cameron at school thereafter. He is called Cameron Diaz and is physically and emotionally hazed on a daily basis. One other boy is equally targeted by the bullies. The other boy happens to be a witness to a horrible attack on Cameron one day. That event changes both of their lives. How much can one person take? How do they deal with the pain? Who knows? Who helps? What is the end result?
This is an intense story and as such is not for everyone...
